Five Favorite Beauty Buys - April 2016

May 7

Foundation: Isadora Nude Cushion foundation
Ever since Lancome came out with a cushion foundation, I’ve been a fan. This is a more affordable version, but just as good. Very easy to apply and blend, it gives off a flawless finish and is so compact that you can throw it in your bag and touch up whenever you want to! I’ve been using it in Nude Sand shade 12.

Body: Miss Dior Silky Body Mist
I’m one of those people that can’t leave home without a decent amount of perfume, whether it’s to the gym, a meeting or my errands. I really love this body mist by Dior. It has such a lovely scent without being overpowering, and moisturizes the skin as well making this my favorite body product of the month.

Self Tan: Lancaster Self Tan beauty Instant golden glow
I must say, I don’t easily fall in love with self tan products but I did with this one by Lancaster (one of the best brands for sun and self tan products). The shade I used was no. 2. (medium) and it’s called A Week in Ibiza, it gives you a subtle glow and is also buildable if you apply it on a daily basis. A bonus? The cream also works as a moisturizer as shea butter is a key ingredient, hydrating your skin.

Contouring: Wow by Wojooh Contour Revolution Duo Sculpting stick

When contouring, I need for-dummy products, so I’m such a fan of Wow by Wojooh products, and really love this one. It’s a stick with two ends, one in Mocha (a darker contour shade) and one in Kahwa (a lighter one). Very easy to apply, it also fits into your handbag – double !

Drugstore buy: Rimmel Kate Moss sculpting palette

Another great beauty item that fits into your handbag, this palette from Kate Moss’s collection from Rimmel is one I love. It includes a bronzer, blush and illuminator – and they’re all actually great shades. The contour is the perfect color that contours but doesn’t leave a muddy hue, the blush provides the perfect amount of flush, and the universal illuminator really gets the skin to glow.
