What to order:
• Zatar pao, pindi channa hummus, pickled olives and sundried tomatoes – soft bread flavoured with zatar served with hummus, flavoured with pindhi channa and home made pickle of olives and sundries tomato – delicious, Indian and Middle Eastern touch.
• Modernist chaat trolley – a live demonstration by the chef of a modern and artistic version of three different types of chaat using liquid nitrogen. – This was such an amazing and cool experience (you might have seen a shot on ) A lovely cold starter with a sweet tinge.
• tandoori guchchi consommé, morel tea leaves, truffle milk powder – A mushroom soup served like Tea
• Curry leaf n pepper prawns, flame roast coconut – prawns tossed with curry leaf and flavoured with pepper corns served with flat rice
• baked jalebi taco with a stuffing of rabdi panna cota with cottage cheese churos and saffron foam
• daulat ki chaat, sohn papdi crumble, 24 carat gold dust – a traditional dessert from Lucknow literally means a wealthy dessert recreated as a foam of condensed milk served with pulled sugar and 24 carat gold dust. – Delicious, I ate this all and doesn’t very heavy, double points!
Service: On point! Incredibly sweet staff, only wish they explained the dishes a little more (being a person that doesn’t eat Indian food very often)
What I loved:
-The Molecular Gastronomy experience – I definitely recommend this if you want to impress someone or take someone out for their birthday!
-If you struggle with ordering, they have a Chef’s tasting option.
-Everything we ordered was filled with flavour!
