On My Plate: Aubaine by Food editor, Tamara Samman
Aubaine is a chic and sophisticated all-day dining purpose restaurant, which offers revolutionary signature French cuisine. With its five venues across London, its extensive menus made for the different times of day, its exemplary and vibrant ambience, its private events approach, as well as all its freshly baked breads that are made to order at its boulangerie; there is no reason why Aubaine should not be a place worth visiting…
Perfect for: Lively by day and cosy by night. Aubaine is undoubtedly great for a relaxed meal at any time of the day whether it may be breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner with a friend or two. The excessive lighting from the windows allows contrasting ambiences during the day and night.
Interior: The restaurant possesses light color décor, which reflects Aubaine’s classic French touch. The vast amount of flowers across the setting complements its fresh foods. Aubaine also has a contemporary twist due to its chic lighting, wide windows and mirrors across the restaurant.
Myfashdiary’s Orders: Butternut Squash Soup, Corn Fed Chicken Supreme with Leeks and Morels, Caramel & Apple Cake, Carrot Cake.
Service: Friendly and genial staff.
Price: Relatively pricey, but definitely worth all that fresh and tasteful goodness!
Fun Facts: Not only does Aubaine operate at five different locations but it is also open for all-day dining (including breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner!). Aubaine also boasts a boulangerie, patisserie, and seasonal specialties that are made fresh to order. The restaurant can also be booked for private parties (event packs are included online).
