Ah the four week fashion marathon, here we go again! I have been running the catwalk gauntlet for ten years now, since I was a teeny fashion student blagging my way past the poker-faced PRs, and have spent this time honing my beauty bag to perfection. Even when you have a handy car waiting for you outside the shows there is little time for make up retouches so the key to any cosmetic is long lasting, through rain wind and sweat.
I stop that gradual, progressive greying of my skin that happens over the month from too many late nights, fatty or high sugar canapes and champagne (it’s a tough life, but someone’s got to do it!) with this little gem. It’s full of antioxidants that counteract free radical damage AND collage production so it really firms my skin. I use this morning and night and it creates the most amazing glow.
The 200 year old emergencies cream salve, made with clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. It works brilliantly as a lip balm, but also on blisters, bites, rashes, scratches and tights ladders, I never leave home without it.
This is a new discovery, a tinted moisturiser that perfects and illuminates your skin without making you look shiny or glittery, it is also chock full of high end anti-ageing ingredients and antioxidants and has a mineral SPF20 and doesn’t shift into smile lines no matter how long you wear it, love love LOVE this it makes me look airbrushed like an ad. (hot off the press, it just won this year’s Allure Best of Beauty: Base)
It draws on easily and stays there till you wash it off with a foaming face wash at the end of the day. I find a simple thick, black eyeliner is the best beauty look for Fashion Week as you really want to concentrate the eye on your clothes and it goes with everything.
My signature scent, it works with your natural pheromones and smells different on everyone, and beautiful on anyone. I’m constantly asked what I’m wearing by both women and men, it rocks!
